Where can I begin in proving to you the mark of the beast has already been fulfilled? How about first we take a look at the preconditioned bias to think it all HAS TO be fulfilled in our time? Until one actually has an open mind to self correct, this will be hard for some saints to receive. Not because this view lacks evidence. On no saint of God. This view has overwhelming evidence to it, as I'm about to prove. I just ask that you take a break from the fever of your mind to hear this evidence, then make your decision.
The 1st point I want to make is, if you believe the Futurists view, that it all gets fulfilled in the last 7 years, then what you are saying is God has remained silent in scripture about prophecy for more than 1900 years. That makes no sense, since Jesus in Rev 1:1,3 says these things must SHORTLY come to pass, and in verse 3, for the time is at hand. Will you be so bold as to take Jesus, at his word?
If you will hear out the Historicist view (not to be mistaken for Preterism), I think you will find the evidence to be so amazing, that you will re-evaluate your view on prophecy and then you will be open to receive the true end time prophecy coming, as layed out at 2020sprophecy.com.
Here we go. First, let's establish some historical fulfillment to this.
And that no man might buy or sell, save he who had the mark or the name of the beast or the number of his name. Rev 13:17
In John Gill's Exposition of the Entire Bible (1748)... in a civil sense, as to trade, and exercise merchandise, and this was forbidden by several Popish councils and synods; the Lateran council under Pope Alexander, decreed against the Waldenses and Albigenses, that no one should presume to retain or encourage them in their houses or countries, or “trade” with them; and the synod of Tours in France forbid any reception of heretics or protection, and that any communion should be had with them “in buying and selling,” as Mr. Mede has observed; and it was ordered by a bull of Pope Martin the Fifth, that no contract should be made with such, and that they should not follow any business and merchandise…
Today’s modern day saints have no idea this ever took place, the forbidding of buying and selling to Protestants of the early Reformation, thus is fulfilled. Let’s go on…
We know for a fact, from comparing Daniel and Revelation that the beast at the time of John receiving the book of Revelation is the beast of the Roman Empire. From historical fact, we also know that the Roman Empire began to fall apart about the 3rd and 4th centuries. We also know the power that came after this was the power of the Popes, who ruled much of the known world for centuries. This power of the Popes is the only power that matches the Image of the Beast in Revelation 13, as I’m about to so prove to anyone with an open mind.
11And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. Rev 13:11
We see here a historical fulfillment of the 2 horns, in its (1) ecclesiastical power and its (2) civil power once held.
12And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
The 1st beast was the Roman empire, who suffered a deadly wound by the empire falling apart surrounding the 3rd century, then coming back together again in an altered form, under Papal rule; the deadly wound that was healed. This was also the 7th head of the Beast, the transitional head of the 3rd/4th century Roman Empire, (and he must continue a short space - Rev 17:10) who when healed, became the 8th , the Papacy, in Revelation 17 (more on that later)
13And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. Rev13:13
I am borrowing here, from the excellent book, Revelation Timeline Decoded on Amazon.
Thomas Coke’s Commentary on the Holy Bible (1803) says, Miracles, visions, and revelations are the mighty boast of the Church of Rome; the contrivances of an artful, cunning clergy, to impose upon an ignorant or credulous laity.
In 1917, the SOJ Society of Jesuits caused an event where 70,000 witnesses supposedly saw the sun, contrary to cosmic laws, twirl in the sky, throw off colors, and descend to earth. This event, which occurred in Fatima, Portugal, caused even non-believers to dropped onto their knees and beg for forgiveness immediately. The ‘Miracle of the Sun‘ supposedly confirmed the validity of the ‘Message of Fatima,’ a message from the Virgin Mary, which warned about future calamity if people did not participate in the Eucharist communion. It served to draw the Muslim community towards the RCC Roman Catholic Church, as they too revere Mary and believe that she was speaking through Fatima, Muhammad’s daughter.
14And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. 15And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. Rev 13:14,15
As thoroughly documented in the Foxe’s Book of Martyrs, and other sources, the many atrocities of the dark age Papal rule killing millions of saints as heretics, is so historically documented, it’s not even questionable.
16And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Rev 13:16
We already covered the buying and selling forbidden above. The mark here in the head and hand is symbolic. Yes, we are well aware of a modern day computer chip transaction ID implant, but here in scripture, it says the number of the beast is that of a man, not of a computer chip ID.
18Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. Rev 13:18
There are several notable 666 equations that are in line with Rome and or the Papacy.
(1) The Hebrew word for Roman is Romiith. It's numeric/alpha equation equals 666
(3) A title of the Popes, Vicar of the Son of God or in Latin, Vicarivs Filii Dei, comes to 666 in roman numerals.
(4) Then there is the event that took place in the year 666. That year, it was decreed that all mass, must be done in Latin.
It's noteworthy that on the cross of Jesus at his crucifixion was inscribed "King of the Jews", in Greek, Latin and Hebrew (Luke 23:38) and here we have in these 3 languages, 666 marks upon which identify the Latin Kingdom/Popery as the beast of Revelation 13, in Latin, in Greek and in Hebrew, quite the confirmations.
You will hear much denial from Catholics over (3) the title Vicarius Filii Dei, but this title of the Popery is documented history and has been used for close to 1000 years. Even excluding that, we have too much evidence here that is identifying the Latin/Roman kingdom as the Beast of Rev 13.
That makes 7 identifying 666 marks on the Roman/Papal beast. There is no lack here in identify the relation of 666 to the Latin/Roman Papal/beast.
There is no other country or power than the Latin kingdom, that has this strength of 666 signs attached to it. God did not make it hard to identify who the Revelation 13 beast is. It's only difficult in the minds of those who are not teachable and flexible to change.
Much of the book of Revelation has been already fulfilled. The reason it’s encoded is because God did not want to provoke persecutions against the brethren. Imagine if he made it plain and the Romans read of how their empire was going to fall apart. They would think the early Christians are encouraging it, and thus would provoke them to persecute even more.
To further back this claim, that much of the book of revelation has been fulfilled is the 5 incredible days=years timelines condensed in the meme below. All of these timelines are consistent and decode days equaling years, in line with major events that took place at those times.
The first one is the Diocletian persecution that occurred 303 into 312 AD. This was historically the most intense time of persecution for the early church. Rev 2:10 says they would be persecuted “10 days”. It also chronologically lines up perfectly with the historical lay out of the 7 church ages, with this Smyrna church at that time.
The 2nd timeline fulfillment is from Revelation 11:9-11, where the voice of opposition to the Roman church was completely dead. They had so killed the protesting saints, that no one was left and at the ninth session of the Fifth Lateran Council, on May 5th, 1514, there was not a voice of opposition left. This is all thoroughly documented and referenced in the book on Amazon, Revelation Timeline Decoded .
And after three days and a half, the Spirit of life from God entered into them... Rev 11:11
This was fulfilled 3.5 years from May 5th, 1514. On October 31, 1517, Martin Luther nailed his 95 Thesis on the door of the church of Whittenberg Germany and thus began, the Reformation. HalleluYah! What a come back! Yet, little is known of this with todays' theologians.
The 3rd timeline in the meme above is from Revelation 9:5. It was an era of Islamic persecutions and attacks. The events are thoroughly documented in the Amazon book Revelation Timeline Decoded . It lasted exactly 150 years.
The 4th, Revelation 9:15 - an hour, a day, a month and a year here converted from days to years, is an hour=2 months, a day= 1 yr, a month=30 years, a year=360 years. That equals the 391 years of the Islamic attack of the eastern orthodox church, which was “1/3” of the Papal empire, again, thoroughly documented in Revelation Timeline Decoded .
The 5th timeline was the start of Papal civil authority given by the Justinian decree in 538 forward to 1798, when Napoleon's army captured and imprisoned the Pope. In scripture it equals 42 months=1260 days=1260 years.
All of the symbolism and events align perfectly with the major events of church history and are thoroughly documented over and over in Revelation Timeline Decoded , which documents these historical fulfillments from the 17th to 19th century, Bible commentaries and scholars, unlike today’s scholars and modern commentaries that show their ignorance. And here we have the popular Futurists with huge TV ministries who say the book of Revelation of Jesus has remained silent for over 1900 years. These events and timelines given in the book of Revelation say otherwise.
What glorious accuracy in prophecy already fulfilled. God is being robbed big time, when the Futurists say nothing has been fulfilled since the 70 AD destruction of the temple in Jerusalem. These points made say otherwise.
Which brings us to the next point to be made and that is, that the Futurists have so filled Christendom with their false views on prophecy, that the true prophecy will be coming to pass from right under their nose and they wont even be able to identify it. They have no idea what’s about to hit them, because God has revealed much more in prophecy that does not align with their view, that they’ve rejected his prophetic rhema word for what’s soon to befall the US, world war 3, after which, will usher in his coming. The Futurists are preaching a pre tribulation rapture doctrine that is not preparing the saints to endure the few short years of terrible trouble ahead, before he comes to resurrect us and reign over the earth for the healing of the nations.
Another sign pointing to the church of Rome is how Rome sits on 7 hills. Revelation 17:9 says the Great Harlot church sits on 7 mountains or in other words, 7 hills. Revelation 17:10 further tells us that there are 5 heads that have fallen. That’s pointing to the 5 forms of previous Roman governments. The “one is” at that time, the 6th head, was in the form of the Emperors.
Here are the 7 forms of government under Rome; The Kings, The Consuls, The Dictators, The Decemvirs, Military Tribunals The Emperors, Dukedom of Rome.
Then it says another is yet to come and would continue a “short space.” That 7th head was a transitional Dukedom government before the Papacy took control. The Papacy had the #1 vast control over the Roman empire for 1260 years. Revelation 13:3 says one of it’s heads were wounded to death, but then healed. Historicists point to the Roman empire falling apart in the 3rd & 4th centuries in that transitional 7th form of government, but then coming back together again under the rule of the Papacy, which is the eighth.
The 8th here is pointing to the Papacy and how about this. Rome sits on 7 hills, but did you know, there is an 8th hill? It’s called Vatican Hill and is the eighth and is of the seven. Rev 17:11
WOW! What a match! Prophecy physically manifesting!
